IP Licensing
How It Works:
SIM IP and the IP owner agree on terms and enter into a patent purchase agreement (SIM IP takes title) or an advisory agreement (you keep title). SIM IP typically funds all expenses; however, we will not fund litigation for advisory cases. SIM IP is responsible for managing the program and finding and negotiating with licensees. Each agreement is customized regarding scope, geography, duration, and terms. SIM IP wins only if you win – all of our recoveries come from the success of the licensing program.
